If you find yourself wandering through the streets of Seattle, make sure to stop by Stitch Cafe, a delightful haven nestled at 1408 E Pine St. This charming cafe is not just another stop for your caffeine fix; it’s a cozy retreat that seamlessly blends the love for fiber arts with the joy of sipping on expertly crafted beverages.

As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a warm, inviting atmosphere brimming with soft lighting and plush carpet that beckons you to settle in. The cafe encourages you to take your time—whether you’re working on a project, diving into a good book, or simply enjoying the pleasant ambiance filled with the soft sounds of lofi music that complements the relaxed vibe.

Stitch Cafe features a thoughtfully curated menu that extends beyond the average cafe offerings. Indulge in their popular Matcha Latte or Hojicha Latte, both priced at just $6.50. Each sip of these lattes delights your palate with a perfect balance of rich flavors and creamy textures. Customers rave about the Matcha Latte, which one frequent guest, Zoe, described as having "a good strong matcha flavor with a good ratio of matcha to milk," earning it a solid 9.5/10.

If you prefer something cooler, the Matcha Lemonade (also $6.50) and Lemonade ($5.50) are refreshing choices that brighten your day. Pair your drink with their dessert options, such as the delightful Macaron, Cream Puff, or freshly baked Scones, each priced at $3.50. Patrons like YeJi An have enjoyed these light treats, stating that a couple of drinks and a macaron were well worth the $18 total.

But what truly sets Stitch Cafe apart is its unique connection to the fiber art community. Beyond beverages, the cafe sells yarn and crafting supplies, along with helpful tools like yarn swifts and ball winders, adding a whole new dimension to your cafe experience. Customers like bev “daniel” chan appreciate the evolution of the space, which has become a supportive gathering place for creatives.

Even if you’re not a yarn enthusiast, the cafe’s inviting nature and excellent drink selection make it a fantastic spot. As Work Jin noted, the comfortable seating and warm ambiance make it a perfect setting to unwind or catch up on work. More than just a cafe, Stitch Cafe serves as a communal space where connections flourish over shared passions and expertly brewed beverages.

So why wait? Swing by Stitch Cafe, where creativity flows as freely as the drinks, and craft your own little moment of joy in this cozy corner of Seattle!

Best matcha latte I've EVER tasted Sometimes looks empty from outside, but that's because everyone is upstairs!

Cozy and pleasant. Great for a few hours of work or to get lost in a project. I have tried hot and cold drinks and both have a great flavor, not too sweet. They have added more yarn for sale and other helpful items over time (I was pleasantly surprised to see a yarn swift and ball winder available upstairs). It’s nice to have a cafe option that is calmer than some of the more trafficked spots.

This cafe is super cute! I love that tax is included in the price AND tip is not accepted. My iced hojicha latte was really good, and my husband got an iced latte that he enjoyed as well. $18 total for an iced latte, iced hojicha latte, and a lemon meringue macaron. We stayed for an hour and a half and got some good reading/stitches in!

TLDR: a cute fiber arts/crafty cafe with tasty drinks and a cozy atmosphere. Haven’t tried their coffee yet, but will certainly be back Matcha Latte: 9.5/10 - really enjoyed this matcha latte, has a good strong matcha flavor with a good ratio of matcha to milk. The carpeted interior on the upstairs seating makes this cafe super cozy! Love that the music is soft lofi and not too loud which is perfect for getting work done, crafting, or chatting.

I am not a yarn or crochet person but I liked the crow mascot so I stopped by for Shay (the crow). The cafe has warm lighting and the seating was comfortable upstairs. If I had brought my laptop I would have stayed longer and worked for sure. They seemed to have some craft kits available on a table for customers, as well as portable lamps you could take if you needed extra light. They have an art wall on the stairs that have local artists' contributions that change every 2 months, which I thought was very cool. I thought there would only be yarn art but there were also paintings that fit the seasonal vibes! The workers are very friendly and I got my hojicha latte quickly. They didn't charge extra for oat milk which is always a pleasant surprise. The latte had strong hojicha flavor and had smooth texture. I think a downside is that they don't have any savory foods, but honestly I think that's fair considering how many other food options there are around here. I would definitely stop by after lunch to grab a drink, finish up some work, and rest before heading back home!

Great place to get your craft on while getting excellent coffee roasted on site by Upright Tree Coffee Roasters. Business partners Sarah (cafe owner) and Shimon (roastery owner) are just getting started, but you can't go wrong with great coffee, cozy crafting, and care for the community that they serve. Full disclosure, I'm a little biased because I did the interior design. We kept it lean by keeping some elements from the previous bar, but doing new coffee bar / cabinetry, new shelving display, new paint, etc., while making other minor improvements. But as a lover of good coffee, I can honestly say that the coffee is legit! Combine that with curated yarn and a lovely atmosphere and you can't go wrong. I'm excited to see Stitch flourish!

I admit when Stitch Cafe opened I was a little skeptical that they could carve out a niche that would find its way into our rotation of cafes, and it is very likely it will now be one of our top visits. My cortados have been well prepared, and they stock bags of Kairu’s light roast single origin beans (at least for now) which are some of our favorites. Whatever blend (I assume it’s a blend?) they are using tastes on the “medium light” end which is welcome respite from the darker blends most Seattle spots favor. The staff has also always been very sweet and wonderful. We’ve also loved their hojicha lattes and baked goods. The atmosphere is top notch, and we often see crafting groups having an excellent time here. There is definitely a nerdy undercurrent which we appreciate :) We are still COVID cautious, too so I’m very appreciative of the wonderful outdoor seating (which is also very accessible) and a lot of the folks we’ve seen inside mask as well. I hope they keep the outdoor open through the winter too so we can keep coming here! I know it’s a tall order but if they started offering a light roast single origin option for espresso, this might be my ride or die coffee spot. Either way; Stitch Cafe has embroidered a place in our hearts very quickly. (To be clear, I’m just an armchair coffee person so it’s entirely possible my assumptions about the coffee are wrong! I’m just going off my gut)
